The problem
A freight company tracked containers in spreadsheets and chat threads. Invoices were sometimes issued before customs had cleared the shipment, and then had to be cancelled and redone.
What we built
- Container tracking: every container linked to its booking, shipment, customs order and invoice.
- A lock that blocks invoicing until the related customs order is closed, with a clear message explaining why.
- Screens and labels that use the same words the operations team already uses.
